Production employment increased, but hours worked declined in April compared to March. Production continues to rise compared to 2015.
An analysis of the latest data released from the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), shows that total production for the collision repair industry was in April versus the previous month, but was up from April 2015. Production remains above the prior peak of March 2008.
