Jack Crawford Taylor, who built a tiny car rental business into the world’s largest and most comprehensive car rental provider, died July 2 in St Louis after a brief illness at the age of 94. The company he founded, Enterprise Holdings Inc., owns the Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and National Car Rental brands.
