The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey (AASP/NJ) hosted its fifth Annual Race Night this past week at Pole Position Raceway in Jersey City. An event normally held to boost camaraderie between automotive repair shops added a special touch this year with AASP/NJ raising $1,000 to donate to fighting prostate cancer.
The night was kicked off by pizza and drinks and followed by a practice race, a qualifier and the exciting finale, which pitted the top two racers from each qualifier to determine the event’s winner. Close to 50 racers turned out in their best Richard Petty imitations
