CAPA, Intertek and China’s Automotive Technology and Research Center Sign Agreement Fostering Aftermarket Collision Repair Parts Standards

Groups commit to development of high quality certified aftermarket parts in China.

The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) and Intertek, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, announced the organizations signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC) yesterday, formalizing their cooperation to encourage the development of high quality, certified aftermarket automotive parts in China. Under the agreement, the organizations will work together to develop Chinese standards and promote cooperation among automotive companies, testing agencies, certification entities and other institutions in the U.S. and China.
