LKQ Corporation Added to S&P 500 Index

LKQ Corporation (NASDAQ:LKQ) announced that S&P Dow Jones Indices added the company to the S&P 500 Index, effective at the close of trading May 20, 2016.

LKQ logoThe S&P 500 is one of the most widely used benchmarks of U.S. equity performance and is held broadly by U.S. and international index funds. First published in 1957, the S&P 500 Index consists of 500 stocks chosen for market size, liquidity and industry grouping, among other factors. LKQ Corporation has been added as a constituent to the S&P 500 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Distributors Sub-Industry Index.
