RMI Guides Repairers Out of Audatex Confusion

The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) has published the first in a series of guides for its body shop members on specific processes to enable them to prepare more accurate and effective Audatex estimates.

Bob Hood, RMI body shop services director explains: ‘Body repairers need reliable and sound information if they are to produce accurate estimates. These RMI guidelines will give body shops the crucial information necessary to enable them to estimate more accurately.

‘For too long, insurers appear to hide behind apparent deficiencies in the Audatex estimating system to avoid paying for all work actually undertaken by repairers,’ Hood
