Boyd Group Reports Nine Month Results, Growth On Track

The Boyd Group Inc. announced November 18 that its interim report to shareholders for the nine months ended September 30, 1999 will reflect continuing aggressive growth and profitability.

Boyd GroupSales for the nine months were CA$38 million, representing an increase of 100 percent over the same period last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased approximately 151 percent to CA$4.20 million or 11.1 percent of sales, from CA$1.67 million or 8.8 percent of sales in the prior year. Net earnings also increased approximately 256 percent to CA$1,109,279 from CA$310,969 last year. Earnings per share were CA$0.067 for the period,
