Yesterday, the Auto Alliance, joined the Global Automakers call for a re-evaluation by the Trump Administration of regulations requiring continued increases in fuel economy. The letter, from Mitch Bainwol, president and CEO of the Auto Alliance, makes a number of policy recommendations concerning the regulation of the auto industry including on fuel economy regulations, zero emission vehicle mandates and regulatory reforms in general. The Alliance represents 12 vehicle manufacturers that represent 77 percent of U.S. sales.
